Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner capable of reducing changes in the opening degree of an expansion valve during heating operations more than in the prior art when the flow rate of the expansion valve is larger or smaller than in a standard expansion valve. The air conditioner (1) comprises: an air conditioning mechanism (2) including an expansion valve (15) and a compressor (12); and a control unit (100). The control unit (100) determines a correction value on the basis of the opening degree of the expansion valve (15) immediately before defrosting operation and sets the opening degree of the expansion valve (15) during heating operation on the basis of the correction value after the defrosting operation completes.
