Abstract:
An air conditioner control method comprises: if it is detected that there are no users in a room when an air conditioner is in an operating state, the air conditioner entering a vacant room mode; and after the air conditioner enters the vacant room mode, the control method adjusting the speed of an output airflow of the air conditioner to a maximum airflow speed. The method determines whether a user is in a room and automatically adjusts the airflow speed when there are no users is in the room, such that the ambient temperature of a room rapidly reaches a set temperature, thereby reducing energy consumption by the air conditioner without impacting the comfort of a user.
