Abstract:

Disclosed is an air conditioner device for use in vehicles that uses ozone for efficacious deodorizing and disinfecting. An HVAC unit (2) forms a warm air path, wherein air from a ventilation means (26) passes through a heating means (33), and a detour air path that detours around the heating means (33) and an airflow adjustment means (38), and an ion generator (40) is positioned in a prescribed location that is downstream, in the direction of the flow of the conditioned air, of an evaporator (30), which is upon the detour air path that results when the airflow adjustment means (38) cuts off airflow to the heating means, and that comes before the air mixing area that is downstream thereof.
