Abstract:
An air conditioner (10) having a self-cleaning function. An indoor unit (100) of the air conditioner (10) is provided with an indoor unit fan (130), an indoor unit heat exchanger (140), a humidifying assembly (150) and a humidity sensor (160); the humidifying assembly (150) is provided with a spray outlet (153), which is disposed within the indoor unit (100) and located at the upstream of an intake air of the indoor unit heat exchanger (140). A control method for the air conditioner (10) comprises: S502, receiving a trigger signal that the air conditioner (10) enables the self-cleaning function; S504, controlling the indoor unit heat exchanger (140) to operate in an evaporator mode and to turn off the indoor unit fan (130); S506, determining whether the humidity of a working environment of the indoor unit (100), detected by the humidity sensor (160), is lower than a preset humidity threshold; S508, if yes, starting the humidifying assembly (150) so as to spray out mist by using the spray outlet (153) and improve frosting effect at the indoor unit heat exchanger (140); and S510, after it is determined that the indoor unit heat exchanger (140) reaches a configured defrosting condition, controlling the indoor unit heat exchanger (140) to defrost, and taking attached pollutants away by using water formed by defrosting, thus realizing self-cleaning of the indoor unit heat exchanger (140).
