Abstract:
An air conditioner and an indoor unit thereof. The indoor unit comprises: a housing (1) having an air outlet (11); a fan arranged in the housing (1); and a disinfection device mounted on the housing (1). The disinfection device comprises: a liquid storage tank (2) for storing a disinfectant; and a sprayer (3) in communication with the liquid storage tank (2), wherein a nozzle (31) of the sprayer (3) is arranged at the air outlet (11). The indoor unit is provided with the disinfection device, and when in operation, the disinfection device can spray a disinfectant in the form of a mist, and at the same time, the fan is operated such that the disinfectant in the form of a mist flows to various positions in a room along with the air blown from the air outlet (11) so as to perform disinfection for the room in order to achieve a more comfortable and safer home environment.
