Abstract:
An indoor unit (1) comprising an arithmetic logic unit (2) to perform air conditioning control. The arithmetic logic unit (2) comprises an actuator control unit (12) that controls the operation of an actuator on the basis of the content of an operation signal, a communication unit (13) that communicates with an optional device (5), an optional device connection determination unit (14) that determines whether the optional device (5) is connected to the indoor unit (1), and a standby power control unit (15) that switches which processing to carry out for reducing standby power for the arithmetic logic unit (2) during standby on the basis of the determination result of whether the optional device (5) is connected. The standby power control unit (15) executes control to stop operation of the arithmetic logic unit (2) after actuator operation has stopped when an optional device (5) is not connected and executes control to decrease processing speed of the arithmetic logic unit (2) during standby to be slower than the processing speed during operation after actuator operation has stopped when an optional device (5) is connected.
