Abstract:
An air conditioner according to the present invention is provided with: a remote controller which transmits an infrared signal including operation instructing information; and an air conditioner body. The air conditioner body is provided with: a black window (4) which transmits infrared signals and which, assuming that an infrared wavelength range corresponds a first wavelength range, has a transmittance of at least a first value in a first wavelength range; a light-receiving element (3) which receives infrared signals; and a white window (5) which is provided between the black window (4) and the light-receiving element (3) and which has, in the first wavelength range, a transmittance of at least a second value that is less than the first value. In the white window (5), the ratio of the transmittance in a second wavelength range which is shorter in wavelength than the first wavelength range with respect to the transmittance in the first wavelength range is lower than the ratio, in the black window (4), of the transmittance in the second wavelength range with respect to the transmittance in the first wavelength range.
