Abstract:
An air conditioner outdoor unit that can be made compact, whose noise can be reduced, and that has excellent assemblability. In the outdoor unit, a pair of primary ports (6a, 6b) of a four-way switching valve (2) is connected to a discharge opening (1a) and a suction opening (1b) of a compressor (1). Of a pair of secondary ports (7a, 7b) of the four-way switching valve (2), a first secondary port (7a) is connected to an external connection port (11) and a second secondary port (7b) is connected to an outdoor heat exchanger (3). Flexible piping lines (20, 21) are respectively arranged between the one secondary port (7a) and the external connection port (11) and between the other secondary port (7b) and the outdoor heat exchanger (3).
