Abstract:
An air-conditioner outdoor unit (2) has: a housing (59); a switch connector (56) to which a switch (80) attached to the outer surface of the housing (59) is connected and which receives a signal which indicates that the switch (80) has been pressed and which is output by the switch (80) when the switch (80) is pressed; a compressor (24) that compresses a refrigerant; a fan motor (25) for moving air; an outdoor control device (53) that controls the compressor (24) and the fan motor (25); and a switch input circuit (58) that, when the switch connector (56) receives the signal, outputs a stop command for stopping the operation of the compressor (24) and the fan motor (25) to the outdoor control device (53). Upon receiving the stop command output from the switch input circuit (58), the outdoor control device (53) stops the operation of the compressor (24) and the fan motor (25).
