Abstract:
This invention addresses the problem of providing an air conditioner outdoor unit that does not reduce the amount of humidified air even when the outdoor unit is installed so as to be near a wall face of a house or the like. With an outdoor unit (30), the gap between a wall face of a house and a casing (40) is left to the judgment of a service person during installation, but because work space for piping construction or working electrical wiring is required on the side of a right-side panel (47) on which a liquid side shutoff valve (37), a gas side shutoff valve (38) and/or an electrical wiring connecting part (550) are positioned, a gap must be secured necessarily. For this reason, the necessary amount of humidified air to be sent indoors is ensured without an increase in intake resistance from an external air inlet (471) formed on the right-side panel (47).
