Abstract:
An air conditioner (18) is provided with the following: an intake grill (50) having an inlet port (22), a plurality of cross pieces (70) provided in the inlet port (22) and disposed with gaps therebetween and so as to be substantially parallel, and inlet surfaces (74) positioned on the ends of the inlet sides of the plurality of cross pieces (70); and a blower for sucking air from the inlet port (22) through the intake grill (50). Each of the cross pieces (70) has inclined plates (76) that are disposed in order towards the downstream side of the flow of air from the inlet surfaces (74) and that are inclined with respect to the inlet surfaces (74), and rectifying plates (78) that are formed contiguously from the inclined plates (76) and that extend substantially perpendicular to and downstream from the inlet surfaces (74).
