Abstract:
This air conditioner for a railway car comprises a first outdoor heat exchanger (111) and a second outdoor heat exchanger (121) which are disposed facing each other. In each of the first outdoor heat exchanger (111) and the second outdoor heat exchanger (121), a main body part (330) has a stacked structure in which refrigerant pipes (310), which have a plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) defined therein, and fins (320) are alternately stacked in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction in which an air flow passes. The plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) in the respective refrigerant pipes (310) are aligned in the thickness direction. A first header pipe (340) causes the plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) of the respective refrigerant pipes (310) to communicate with each other at one end section of the main body section (330) in the length direction of the refrigerant pipes (310). A second header pipe (350) causes the plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) of the respective refrigerant pipes (310) to communicate with each other at the other end section of the main body part (330) in the length direction of the refrigerant pipes (310).
