Abstract:
Provided is a railway vehicle air conditioner that, without causing any discomfort for passengers, undertakes air conditioner cleaning at appropriate timing and achieves excellent hygiene and comfort. A railway vehicle air conditioner comprising a vehicle control system comprises: a cooling cycle device 3 that can execute a cleaning operation; and an air conditioning control device 4 that controls the cooling cycle device. The air conditioning control device 4 can communicate with the vehicle control system 2 and causes the cooling cycle device 3 to execute the cleaning operation on the basis of status information obtained from the vehicle control system 2.
