Abstract:
Provided are an air conditioner self-cleaning control method and an air conditioner; the self-cleaning control method comprises the following steps: obtaining the electric current value of a fan of an indoor unit; if the electric current value is less than a set current value, then obtaining the PM2.5 value of the indoor air in the period of time from the completion of the previous self-cleaning of the air conditioner to the current time; according to the PM2.5 value of the indoor air, determining whether to run the self-cleaning mode.
