Abstract:
An air conditioner for a vehicle having a blower fan (12) disposed in a ventilating duct (10) having an outlet open to the inside of a passenger compartment of the vehicle, a heat exchanger (13) disposed downstream of the blower fan (12), and a deodorant liquid supplying device disposed in an injection port (20) disposed in turn upstream of the blower fan (20) for injecting deodorant liquid of a natural plant type containing phytonchid whereby offensive odor from the air conditioner is prevented. Deodorant liquid supplied into the ventilating duct from the injection port by virtue of a suction force of the blower fan is supplied down to a downstream area in a state in which it is induced and dispersed by the blower fan, whereby it is possible to fill the whole of the air conditioner and the passenger compartment of the vehicle with deodorant liquid-filled atmosphere.
