Abstract:
Provided is a heat-pump type air conditioner for a vehicle, wherein noise that is generated upon opening an on-off valve (electromagnetic valve) when the operation mode is switched is eliminated or reduced. The air conditioner has: a dehumidifying/heating mode, in which heat is dissipated from a coolant at a radiator 4 and the coolant is decompressed, whereafter the heat is absorbed at a heat absorption apparatus 9 and an outdoor heat exchanger 7; and a cooling mode, in which heat is dissipated from the coolant at the outdoor heat exchanger and the coolant is decompressed, whereafter the heat is absorbed at the heat absorption apparatus. The air conditioner is equipped with an electromagnetic valve 21 and an electromagnetic valve 22 that are opened in the dehumidifying/heating mode. When switching from the cooling mode to the dehumidifying/heating mode, the electromagnetic valve 21 and the electromagnetic valve 22 are opened after the pre-/post-switching pressure differential of each electromagnetic valve is reduced.
