Abstract:
This air conditioner for a vehicle comprises: a condenser (2) which has a core portion (23) that performs heat exchange between the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (1) of a refrigeration cycle (100) and air; and a switching portion (7, 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D) which switches the refrigerant flow paths in the condenser (2). The switching portion switches between: a first refrigerant flow path which allows the refrigerant to circulate through the entire region of the core portion (23); and a second refrigerant flow path which allows the refrigerant to circulate through a partial region of the core portion (23) by allowing the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (1) to flow into an intermediate portion of the core portion (23).
