Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle, which can configure a rear vent and a rear duct without increasing the size of an air conditioner case and arranging the rear vent and the rear duct toward front seat region, by improving the structure of the air conditioner case and the arrangement structure of cooling/heating heat exchangers, and as such, it is very advantageous in securing the space of the front seat region. To achieve the purpose, the present invention provides an air conditioner for a vehicle, comprising an air conditioner case which comprises: an inner flow path which introduces and transports discharged air from a blower to the indoor side of the vehicle; a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger, which respectively cool down and heat the air transported through the internal flow path; and a plurality of vents which discharge cool and hot wind that has passed through the cooling/heating heat exchangers, into each part of the interior of the vehicle. The internal flow path of the air conditioner case is formed in the vertical direction with respect to the ground so that the passage of the air flow can be formed from the lower portion to the upper portion in the gravity direction, the cooling/heating heat exchangers on the internal flow path are sequentially arranged from the lower portion toward the upper portion in the gravity direction in correspondence with the passage of the air flow from the lower portion toward the upper portion in the gravity direction, and the vents split and discharge the cool and hot wind from the cooling/heating heat exchangers toward the front and rear parts of the interior of the vehicle.
