Title:
AIR-CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1996/011369
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention aims at reducing the sound, which occurs in a dehumidification restriction unit during a dehumidification operation, of a flow of a refrigerant in an air-conditioner capable of carrying out a dehumidification operation while preventing a decrease in the room temperature by, especially, a refrigerating cycle. A user-side heat exchanger (3) is divided into two, and a dehumidification restriction unit (7) used during a dehumidification operation is provided therebetween, to form a refrigerating cycle. A dehumidification restriction unit (7) is formed by providing a main refrigerant passage (27) comprising a clearance between a valve rod (34) and a valve seat (36), and an auxiliary refrigerant passage (25) connecting together a high pressure side refrigerant passage (32) and a low pressure side refrigerant passage (28), a part of which auxiliary refrigerant passage (25) is provided in a valve rod (34) by utilizing the same. This enables the sound of flow of a refrigerant, which occurs when a refrigerant current flowing into a restriction portion of the dehumification restriction unit is a two-phase current, i.e. a gas-liquid phase current, to be reduced during a dehumidification operation.
