Abstract:
A control section (101) contained in an in-door machine (10) scans a thermopile (11)
to acquire temperature information within a temperature detection object area
by so scanning the temperature detection area of the thermopile (11) that partial
areas overlap with one another, thereby detecting the temperature, with the
partial areas overlapping with one another. Alternatively, the control section
(101) acquires the temperature information within the temperature detection
object area using thermopiles (11) at a time in such a way that partial areas of
the temperature detection areas of the thermopiles (11) overlap with one another.
The control section (101) performs the temperature detection continuously
or cyclically to acquire the temperature information. On the basis of the variation
with time of the acquired temperature information, the control section (101)
judges that a person is present if the variation exceeds a human body detection
threshold value and judges where the person is present. Depending on the human
body detection information, a human body presence value is added. If no human
body is detected, the human body presence value is subtracted. When the human
body presence value lowers below an absence judgment threshold value, it is judged
if no human body is present only at the place where the last movement is detected.
