Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air conditioner, and more particularly, to an air conditioner comprising an oil recovery channel which is arranged to recover oil from a shell and tube-type evaporator, or to recover oil from an oil separator of a compressor, and to introduce the recovered oil into the compressor for reutilization, such that the oil and a refrigerant mixed with the oil are overheated or supercooled by the heat dissipated from a heat exchanger of a fin and tube-type condenser while passing through the condenser, thereby improving the heat exchange performance of the evaporator.
