Abstract:
An indoor unit housing (20a) of an indoor unit (20) is configured by the combination of edge members (22L, 22R) on left and right edges of a rear face member (21). Projecting parts (30L, 30R) are attached to the edge members as separate components. The projecting parts serve to maintain no less than a predetermined distance between a wall surface facing side surfaces of the indoor unit on which the projecting parts are provided, and the side surfaces. An opening and closing panel (28) capable of moving up and down is provided on a front surface of the indoor unit housing. The left and right edges of the opening and closing panel wrap around the left and right side surfaces of the indoor unit housing, and the projecting parts function as structural parts connecting to the opening and closing panel.
