Abstract:
This air conditioner is equipped with: a room temperature detection means that detects the room temperature; a body detection means that detects the movement of a body; and a remote control device that sets a standard room temperature setting. The configuration is such that when the amount of activity that is based on the movement of a person detected by the body detection means is greater than a prescribed amount, an air-conditioning control is performed such that air in the room reaches the standard room temperature setting, and when the amount of activity is less than the prescribed amount, an air-conditioning control is performed such that the room temperature reaches a corrected room temperature setting for which a correction value has been added to the standard room temperature setting. The correction value is periodically changed upward or downward in a prescribed pattern.
