Abstract:
This air conditioner is provided with a vertical wind direction alteration vane (12) that vertically alters the orientation of air blown out from a blowout opening (10); the vertical wind direction alteration vane (12) is provided with a bottom vane (18) and a top vane (20) that are rotatably provided to the vicinity of the blowout opening (10); the top vane (20) is configured in a manner so as to be able to move in a manner so as to approach towards or retreat from the bottom vane (18), and is configured in a manner so as to adjust the gap between the bottom vane (18) and top vane (20) and the gap between the top vane (20) and a stabilizer (32) forming a blowout opening (10) facing the top vane (20); and during heating, the amount of wind in the air-conditioning operation is controlled in a manner so as to be increased the narrower the gap is between the top vane (20) and the bottom vane (18) positioned in parallel.
