Abstract:
The present invention prevents the occurrence of refrigerant noise when restoring heating operation. An air conditioner (1) is provided with a refrigerant circuit (20) that is filled with R32 as a refrigerant, and is configured to be switchable between heating operation and defrosting operation using a four-way switching valve (22). During the interval between terminating defrosting operation and switching the four-way switching valve (22) so that heating operation is restored in the air conditioner (1), an expansion valve (24) is either closed completely or the opening degree of said expansion valve (24) is set to be smaller than during defrosting operation and liquid restraint control for restraining liquid refrigerant from flowing into an indoor heat exchanger (25) from an outdoor heat exchanger (23) is performed.
