Abstract:
This air conditioner is provided with a cross-flow fan (8), an impeller (8a), and shafts (8f, 12a). The impeller has a plurality of support plates (8b) and a plurality of blades (8c). Each blade has the following: a plurality of regions (8ca, 8cb, 8cc) that have different cross-sections perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the impeller and are lined up in the direction of said axis of rotation; and a connecting section (8ce) provided so as to connect said regions. At least one of the connecting sections (8ce) has ribs (14, 16) that protrude from the surface of the blade.
