Title:
AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/083651
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An evaporator has: multiple refrigerant flow paths (30, 40) which are divided above and below in the vertical direction; a divider (11) that divides the flow of refrigerant into the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40) through one of the two ends of the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40); a flow combiner (12) that causes the flow of refrigerant in the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40) to combine through the other of the two ends of the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40); and a connecting tube (990) connecting the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40). The refrigerant flow paths (30, 40) have heat transfer tubes (110), which extend in the horizontal direction and perform heat exchange, and return bends (111A, 111B), which protrude from the heat transfer tubes (110) and return to other heat transfer tubes (110). The connecting tube (990) is connected to the outer circumferential surface (111b) of bent tubes (111a) of the return bends (111A, 111B) midway along the length of the refrigerant flow paths (30, 40).
