Abstract:
This air conditioner comprises: an operation unit for the user to set operation conditions of the air conditioner; an input unit by which the user can input a maximum electricity costs or electricity consumption for operating the air conditioner; a remainder calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of the maximum electricity cost or electricity consumption input into the input unit and the amount of power consumed by the air conditioner during operation, the remaining amount of electricity cost or electricity consumption that can be used; an operation time calculation unit that calculates the allowable operation time for which operation is possible by using the remaining electricity costs or the electricity consumption that can be used that was calculated by the remainder calculation unit; and a display unit that displays, when starting operation of the air conditioner or during operation of the same, the allowable operation time that was calculated by the operation time calculation unit. Thus, an air conditioner by which the user can achieve energy conservation can be provided.
