Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner which, even when a power-driven compressor and a non-power-driven compressor are used together, is capable of returning an amount of refrigerant/refrigerator oil to the compressors according to capacity. The cross section area of a connection pipe connected to an engine-driven compressor (112) is greater than or equal to the product of a value obtained by dividing the capacity of the engine-driven compressor (112) by the capacity of a power-driven compressor (113) and the cross section area of a connection pipe connected to the power-driven compressor (113). Thus, by making the average flow velocity of a refrigerant flowing inside the connection pipe connected to the engine-driven compressor (112)and the connection pipe connected to the power-driven compressor (113) approximately the same, an amount of refrigerant/refrigerator oil can be returned to the compressors, enabling the operating reliability of the compressors to be improved.
