Abstract:
In the present invention, an air conditioner is provided with at least the following: a first heating mode in which a heating operation is carried out by causing a refrigerant ejected from a compressor 1 to flow into a use-side heat exchanger 6; and a second heating mode in which the heating operation and a defrosting operation are simultaneously carried out by causing the refrigerant ejected from the compressor 1 to flow into the use-side heat exchanger 6 and a heat source-side heat exchanger 3. To enable a refrigerant amount corresponding to the volume of a heat storage-use heat exchanger 25 to be stored in the use-side heat exchanger 6 during the second heating mode, the opening degree of a first throttle device 5 during the second heating mode is controlled so as to be smaller than the opening degree of the first throttling device 5 during the first heating mode.
