Abstract:
In a rotary door (15) of a vehicle air conditioner (1), in a face mode, an outer peripheral part (61) closes a defroster air opening (51b) and an outer peripheral part (62) closes a foot air opening (51d). At this time, a first door opening (66) communicates with an entrance opening (30b) and a second door opening (64) communicates with a face air opening (51c). The flow path cross-sectional area (A1) of a flow path that conducts airflow between the entrance opening (30b) and the first door opening (66) matches the flow path cross-sectional area (B1) of a flow path that conducts airflow between the face air opening (51c) and the second door opening (64). For this reason, because air expands in the door space (57) when the airflow moves from the entrance opening (30b) into the door space (57), it is possible to decrease pulsation of the airflow. As a result, the noise level can be reduced.
