Abstract:

This air conditioner 1 comprises: a plurality of ducts 51, 52 arranged parallel to each other within a housing 2 and blowing air into a room, the air having been subjected to heat exchange with a heat exchanger 4; a plurality of motors 61, 62 having rotating shafts 61b, 62b, respectively, and having body sections 61a, 62a, respectively, the rotating shafts 61b, 62b being respectively connected, each at one end thereof, to the body sections 61a, 62a, the rotating shafts 61b, 62b being arranged vertically to the longitudinal direction of the plurality of ducts 51, 52 so as to be alternately oriented in opposite directions, the body sections 61a, 62a being arranged side by side between the plurality of ducts 51, 52 in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of ducts 51, 52; a plurality of centrifugal fans 71, 72 respectively driven by the plurality of motors 61, 62, at least one centrifugal fan 71 and at least one centrifugal fan 72 being respectively arranged within the plurality of ducts 51, 52; and a partition member 8 having a plurality of motor support sections 81 extending side by side between the plurality of ducts 51, 52, the plurality of motor support sections 81 having affixed thereto the body sections 61a, 62a of the plurality of motors 61, 62, the affixation being made on the side of the body sections 61a, 62a which is opposite the rotating shafts 61b, 62b.
