Abstract:
This air conditioner has: a reference setting unit that sets, as a reference value, an index relating to the liquid phase temperature at a time when refrigerant quantity determining mode is performed at first; and a refrigerant quantity determining unit that determines whether the quantity of a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit is reduced or not by comparing with each other the reference value and the index relating to the liquid phase temperature at times when the refrigerant quantity determining mode is performed second time or later. The reference setting unit is provided with an index determining unit that determines whether an index relating to the liquid phase temperature is equal to or higher than a set threshold value, and in the cases where it is determined that the index relating to the liquid phase temperature is equal to or higher than the set threshold value by the index determining unit, the index relating to the liquid phase temperature equal to or higher than the set threshold value is stored as the reference value in a storage unit. Whereas in the cases where it is determined that the index relating to the liquid phase temperature is below the set threshold value, an index relating to the liquid phase temperature under operation conditions after a change is stored as the reference value in the storage unit.
