Abstract:
An air conditioner comprises an air conditioner main unit that air conditions a space to be air conditioned, a display unit that is provided on the air conditioner main unit and that displays the operating state of the air conditioner main unit, and a control unit that controls operation of the display unit. The display unit comprises a case provided on the air conditioner main unit and in which a hole is formed, a first light emitting element that is disposed in the hole in the case and that indicates that the air conditioner main unit is operating or is stopped, and a second light emitting element that is disposed in the hole in the case, that indicates the operation mode of the air conditioner main unit, and that emits light of a color that is different than the first light emitting element. The control unit illuminates the first light emitting element and extinguishes the second light emitting element when the air conditioner main unit is operating, and extinguishes or decreases the output of the first light emitting element and illuminates the second light emitting element when the operation mode of the air conditioner main unit is switched.
