Abstract:
An air conditioner (100) that, in order to reduce the complexity of the work required to turn on a power supply for a wireless LAN adapter, comprises a main body electrical part (150), a wireless LAN adapter (160), and a remote controller (200). The main body electrical part (150) has a main body control part (152). The wireless LAN adapter (160) is connected to the main body electrical part (150). On the basis of user operations, the remote controller (200) transmits command signals to the main body control part (152) by means of infrared radiation. Upon receiving a command signal related to a power supply for the wireless LAN adapter (160), the main body control part (152) turns on the power supply for the wireless LAN adapter (160).
