Abstract:
An air conditioner is provided with a plurality of outdoor units, a plurality of indoor units, a relay unit, an outdoor-heat-exchanger temperature detection unit, an indoor-heat-exchanger temperature detection unit, a discharge temperature detection unit, an intake pressure detection unit, a discharge pressure detection unit, and a control unit. The control unit has: storage means that, in correspondence with a plurality of outdoor unit states based on the degree of evaporation superheating of coolant flowing out from a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers operating as evaporators and the degree of discharge superheating of coolant discharged from a plurality of compressors, stores an opening-degree adjustment table associating combinations of evaporation temperatures for coolant flowing in the indoor heat exchangers operating as evaporators and outdoor unit states for each of the outdoor units and the respective opening-degree adjustment values for a plurality of outdoor flow amount adjustment valves; an opening-degree setting means for setting the opening degree for each of the plurality of the outdoor flow amount adjustment valves on the basis of an evaporation superheating calculation value, a discharge superheating calculation value, an evaporation temperature detection value, and the opening-degree adjustment table stored in the storage means; and an opening-degree control means for controlling the opening degrees for the plurality of outdoor flow amount adjustment valves to the opening degrees set using the respective opening-degree setting means.
