Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner that can improve heat exchange performance during a heating operation and during a cooling operation and achieve continuous heating operation, while suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost and packaging volume. The air conditioner is equipped with a refrigerant circuit through which a refrigerant circulates. A second heat exchanger comprises a first refrigerant flow passage (3a) and a second refrigerant flow passage (3b). A first port of a flow passage switching device is connected to a discharge part of a compressor. A second port is connected to a first heat exchanger. A third port is connected to an intake part of the compressor. A fourth port is connected to a tube that connects a branch point to the first refrigerant flow passage. A fifth port is connected to the second refrigerant flow passage. A sixth port is connected to the first refrigerant flow passage.
