Abstract:
An air conditioner comprises: a drain pan that receives drain water from a heat exchanger; a drain opening that drains the drain water in the drain pan and that has an inlet opened to the inside of the drain pan, an outlet opened to the outside of the drain pan, and a tapered inner circumferential face formed between the inlet and the outlet and having a diameter thereof larger nearer the outlet; a stop valve that is inserted into the drain opening from the outlet side so as to be removable and that is in close contact to the inner circumferential face; a cover that is mounted on the outlet so as to be removable; and a biasing member that is disposed between the stop valve and the cover and that biases the stop valve toward the inlet side.
