Abstract:
An indoor unit comprises: a heat exchanger (5) having a first heat exchange region (X) and a second heat exchange region (Y); and a pressure regulator (12) for regulating refrigerant pressure, the pressure regulator (12) being provided between the first heat exchange region (X) and the second heat exchange region (Y). The indoor unit is configured such that during a warming operation, the first heat exchange region (X) reaches a first condensation temperature and the second heat exchange region (Y) reaches a second condensation temperature lower than the first condensation temperature due to pressure reduction by the pressure regulator (12). The indoor unit has a normal mode for normal operation with the pressure regulator (12) fully open, and a two-temperature mode for setting the pressure regulator (12) to a prescribed restriction amount. Furthermore, during the normal mode, if the temperature difference between the first heat exchange region (X) and the second heat exchange region (Y) does not satisfy a prescribed condition, it is determined that there is an abnormality in the pressure regulator (12).
