Abstract:
An air conditioner (10) that is disposed in a room in which there is installed a ventilation fan for expelling air in the room to out of the room, and that blows conditioned air into the room, wherein the air conditioner (10) is provided with an airflow direction board (26) for varying the direction of airflow of the conditioned air, a blower fan (28) for varying the airflow amount of the conditioned air, and a ventilation fan operation determination unit (44) for determining the operation state of the ventilation fan. The air conditioner (10) is also provided with a blowing control unit (50) that, when it is determined by the ventilation fan operation determination unit (44) that the ventilation fan is operating, performs an airflow direction changing control for changing the orientation of the airflow direction board (26) to orient the airflow direction of the conditioned air so as to avoid the location of the ventilation fan, or an airflow amount reduction control for changing the rotation speed of the blower fan (28) to reduce the airflow amount of the conditioned air, on the basis of ventilation fan location information, which is information representing the location in the room at which the ventilation fan is disposed.
