Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing the emanation of a motor sound inside a vehicle compartment. An air-conditioning case (10) has a ventilation channel (11) through which air to be blown into the vehicle compartment flows. A fan (20) generates an airflow in the ventilation channel (11). A motor (30) rotates a fan (20). A motor holder (40) has a storage chamber (41) for housing the motor (30). Securing parts (71, 72) secure the air-conditioning case (10) and the motor holder (40) to one another. A recess (80) is provided in one element among the air-conditioning case (10) and the motor holder (40) so as to surround the outer periphery of the motor holder (40) or the fan (20). A projection (90) extends toward the inside of the recess (80) from the other element among the air-conditioning case (10) and the motor holder (40), and contacts the inner wall of the recess (80) while curving in the axial or radial direction of the motor (30).
