Abstract:

An outdoor machine (2) is provided with: first, second, third, and fourth connection terminals, to which indoor machines are connected; a power conversion unit (31); and a switch unit (27) that is provided between the first connection terminal and the power conversion unit. Each of indoor machines (1a, 1b) is provided with: a first indoor machine-side terminal connected to the first connection terminal; a second indoor machine-side terminal connected to the second connection terminal; a third indoor machine-side terminal connected to the third connection terminal; a fourth indoor machine-side terminal connected to the fourth connection terminal; and a switch apparatus (15) that is provided between the first indoor machine-side terminal and the fourth indoor machine-side terminal. The switch unit is provided with: a first switch apparatus (23) that is to be in a closed state when power is supplied from the second and fourth connection terminals; and a second switch apparatus (24) connected in parallel to the first switch apparatus. Alternating current power is applied to the first and second connection terminals, and when the indoor machines receive start-up signals, the indoor machines cause the switch apparatuses to be in a closed state, and when the alternating current power supply to the power conversion unit starts, the outdoor machine causes the second switch apparatus to be in a closed state.
