Abstract:

An air conditioner in which a refrigerant circulates and which comprises a compressor, a first heat exchanger, a first expansion valve, a second heat exchanger, and a control device. The control device changes the degree of opening of the first expansion valve by a first operation amount in accordance with a temperature difference between a target temperature and the temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor. The refrigerant circulates sequentially through the compressor, the first heat exchanger, the first expansion valve, and the second heat exchanger. A first proportion when a specific condition is established is greater than a second proportion when the specific condition has not been established. The specific condition (S111) is a condition indicating that the degree of supercooling of the refrigerant flowing between the first heat exchanger and the first expansion valve is less than 0. The first and second proportions are the proportion of the first operation amount with respect to the relevant temperature difference.
