Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner (1) comprising: a refrigerant containing at least 1,2-difluoroethylene; and a refrigerant circuit (50) filled with the refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit (50) has: a compressor (10) for compressing the refrigerant; an indoor heat exchanger (14) which is a first heat exchanger for evaporating the refrigerant in an evaporation zone; an expansion valve (13) which is a pressure reducing part for reducing the pressure of the refrigerant; and an outdoor heat exchanger (12) which is a second heat exchanger for condensing the refrigerant. The air conditioner (1) is configured to be capable of switching between a first operation for using the entire indoor heat exchanger (14) as an evaporation zone to blow indoors the air heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger (14), and a second operation for using only a portion of the indoor heat exchanger (14) as an evaporation zone to blow indoors the air heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger (14).
