Abstract:
This air conditioner (100) is provided with: a compressor (1) which compresses and discharges a refrigerant; an inverter circuit (2) which drives the compressor (1) with a driving current; a current detection circuit (4) which detects the driving current; and a microcomputer (3) which controls the inverter circuit (2) on the basis of a detection result of the current detection circuit (4), wherein if a difference between the absolute value of the peak value of the driving current when the compressor (1) suctions the refrigerant or compresses the refrigerant and the absolute value of the peak value when the compressor (1) discharges the refrigerant exceeds a first threshold value, the microcomputer (3) determines that a high-pressure abnormality has occurred in a connection pipeline connected to the compressor (1).
