Abstract:
This railroad car air-conditioning apparatus (100) comprises: an interior heat exchanger (10) which evaporates a refrigerant; a cooperative device group (20) which transfers the refrigerant between the indoor heat exchanger, thereby configuring a refrigeration cycle using the refrigerant with the indoor heat exchanger; a waste heat recovery device (80) which has a waste heat recovery unit (81) that recovers waste heat from a waste heat source (WS) and a radiation unit (82) which radiates the heat transferred to itself into the interior heat exchanger, and which is capable of switching between a radiation state, in which the waste heat recovered by the waste heat recovery unit is transmitted to the radiation unit, and radiated by the radiation unit, and a radiation stop state, in which the waste heat recovered by the waste heat recovery unit is less likely to be transmitted to the radiation unit than in the radiation state; and a control apparatus (90) which controls the waste heat recovery device to the radiation stop state while the transfer of the refrigerant between the interior heat exchanger and the cooperative device group is performed, and which controls the waste heat recovery device to the radiation state while the transfer of the refrigerant is stopped.
