Abstract:
An air conditioning apparatus (1) that air-conditions a vehicle interior is provided with a casing (10), an evaporator (20), an air blower (30), a controller (40), and a cooling passage (50). The casing (10) forms an air passage (11) through which air flows from an air inlet (12) toward a blow-out port. The evaporator (20) cools the air flowing through the air passage (11). The air blower (30), which is disposed downstream from the evaporator (20) within the air passage (11), creates an air flow in the air passage (11). The controller (40) controls the output of the air blower (30). The cooling passage (50) communicates a location (17) positioned downstream from the air blower (30) within the air passage (11), and a location (14) positioned upstream from the evaporator (20) within the air passage (11). The controller (40) is installed in the cooling passage (50).
