Abstract:
[Problem] An air conditioning device for a vehicle in which detection performance of a dust sensor can be maintained while passengers are relieved of the labor of cleaning the dust sensor. [Solution] An air conditioning device (1) for a vehicle is provided with an air conditioning duct (10) having formed therein an air passage (11) for guiding an air conditioning draft for conditioning the air in a vehicle interior into the vehicle interior through a blow-out port, an air conditioning unit (20) disposed in the air conditioning duct, the air conditioning unit (20) generating the air conditioning draft from air taken into the air passage from the exterior of the air conditioning duct, a control unit (80) for controlling the air conditioning unit, and a dust sensor (70) having a communication passage for communicating the interior of the air conditioning duct and the exterior, the dust sensor (70) detecting dust concentration in air flowing through the communication passage. The control unit has a control mode for controlling the air conditioning unit in order to remove dirt accumulated in the communication passage.
