Abstract:

This air conditioning device for a vehicle is equipped with: a casing which demarcates an indoor unit chamber which is connected to the vehicle compartment of the vehicle; an indoor heat exchanger which is positioned in the indoor unit chamber and through which a coolant containing carbon dioxide flows; a cooperating device which, along with the indoor heat exchanger, forms a refrigeration cycle device through which the coolant circulates; an indoor fan which is positioned in the indoor unit chamber and forms an airflow which causes air which has flowed into the indoor unit chamber from the vehicle compartment to pass through the indoor heat exchanger and flow again into the vehicle compartment; and a first gas sensor (510) which detects the concentration of carbon dioxide gas at a position which is downstream from the indoor heat exchanger along the path of the airflow. The first gas sensor (510) has a response unit (511) which causes a reaction according to the concentration of carbon dioxide gas, and a first wind shield (513a) which prevents the airflow from striking the response unit (511).
