Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to increase or decrease the amount of circulating refrigerant that is diverted to an indoor heat exchanger and a heat source-side heat exchanger that is being defrosted by way of increasing or decreasing the degree that a heat source-side flow rate regulating valve is opened while on-defrost is operating, to improve heating performance when a small amount of frost is formed, and to perform defrosting reliably when a large amount of frost is formed. An air conditioning device forms a defrost circuit and forms a heating circuit while on-defrost is operating. In a state where on-defrost is operating, the heat source-side flow rate regulating valve is configured to increase or decrease the amount of refrigerant circulating in either of the defrost circuit or the heating circuit by adjusting the degree the valve is opened.
